The Scripture affirms that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead. It's in the Bible, Matthew 28:5-6, TLB. "Then the angel spoke to the women. 'Don’t be frightened!' he said, ‘I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified, but He isn't here! For He has come back to life again, just as He said He would. Come in and see where His body was lying.'"

The resurrection happened exactly as the prophets said it would. It's in the Bible, I Corinthians 15:3-4, TLB. "I passed on to you right from the first what had been told to me, that Christ died for our sins just as the Scriptures said He would, and that He was buried, and that three days afterwards He arose from the grave just as the prophets foretold."

"And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. "But I am telling you this strange and wonderful secret: we shall not all die, but we shall all be given new bodies! It will all happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For there will be a trumpet blast from the sky, and all the Christians who have died will suddenly become alive, with new bodies that will never, never die; and then we who are still alive shall suddenly have new bodies too. For our earthly bodies, the ones we have now that can die, must be transformed into heavenly bodies that cannot perish but will live forever."

Because of Christ resurrection, He has the power to resurrect dead relationships and those who are spiritually dead. It's in the Bible, Philippians 3:10 NIV. "I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death." Ephesians 2:1,4,5, NIV says, "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins…But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved."
